This year, the YWCA
Central Orange County's Spring Tea will be held
at the beautiful venue in Chapman University. We
expect the turn-out to be around 200 attendees this
year, our biggest tea to date!

Joanie's Purse Project
May 2010
Twice a year, for
Mother's Day and for Christmas, the YWCA Central
Orange County collects purses, toiletries, jewelry,
scarves, gloves, and other items that are useful
for women in crisis.
Volunteers sort and
inventory items, assemble the purses and deliver
them to women in need.
We plan to deliver
over 300 for Mother's Day.
If you have items
you'd like to donate, or if you'd like to volunteer
for this event, please contact us.
If you work with
an organization that is in need of women's purses
and toiletries and you aren't currently receiving
them from us, please contact us. |

Christmas 2009
December 2009,
we delivered 339 purses to women in need. YWCA
would like to extend a huge thank you to all
of the volunteers and donors that made our Christmas
2009 project a success!

Deloitte Volunteer Day
THANK YOU DELOITTE
VOLUNTEERS!
June 2008
In June, a team
of 45 Deloitte employees spent the day beautifying
Beverly's House. They did a wonderful job upgrading
the outside, with new plants and upgrading the
fence. They also upgraded the house itself,
including windows, furniture and painting.
We are so happy
to have our community show support of our programs.
